Don't Judge This One From the Front

Pull up to this home and you'd never guess what's behind it. The front presents as a clean, modest black ranch with board and batten Hardie plank. The Hardie is painted Sherwin Williams "Tricorn Black" and is accented with cedar entry posts, black standing seam metal roof and a gravel drive tucked into the trees. It's sharp and intentional, but understated. Then you walk through and everything changes.

At 2,990 sq ft, this home opens up completely to the back. The walkout lower level is wrapped in stone, flanked by cedar posts, and topped with a tongue and groove ceiling — and the composite deck above it spans the full width of the home with metal lighted rails and a view straight into the woods. The homeowner added an inground pool, putting green, and professional landscaping to complete the outdoor space, turning it into something you'd book a vacation to stay at.

Inside, white oak is the thread that runs through everything: vaulted ceilings clad in white oak, white oak beams with integrated lighting in the great room, white oak stairs. The custom kitchen features a statement hood, waterfall island countertops and full height backsplash. All four bedrooms have ensuite baths with custom showers or tubs. The laundry room is generous, the game room gets used, and the lower level entertainment space gives everyone somewhere to be.

This is the kind of home that looks like one thing from the road and delivers something else entirely once you're inside it.
